We have some sad news. Prof. B.P. Singh, former Director, Indian Institute of Geogmagnetism, Navi Mumbai passed away on 19.2.2011 after prolonged illness.

Prof. B.P. Singh born on 18th August 1937 and was joined the Indian Institue of Geomagnetism in 1973. He became Director in 1991 and superannuated in 1997. He was played a key role in establishing and nourishing the scientific activities in the field of Geophysics (particularly in EM Induction studies), in India.
